Marketing & Communications Associate

Endeavor Jordan is seeking a Marketing & Communications Associate to assist in running the operations of the Marketing and Communications Department, with the overall purpose of creating brand awareness of Endeavor Jordan through various channels comprising; Events' Planning and Management, Media Monitoring and Development, Content Management, as well as communication and relationship with the entrepreneurial network and ecosystem.

The Position

Title: Marketing & Communications Associate
Reports to: Marketing & Communications Manager
Works with: Managing Director; Marketing & Communications Manager, Marketing and Communications Teams at Endeavor Global and other offices; Enterprise Selection & Growth Team, PR agency, and Graphic Designer, and other related events vendors

Responsibilities

  • Create written Marketing content such as blog posts and press releases
  • Liaise with third party vendors; i.e printing house, photographers, caterers, venues,…
  • Monitor media mentions for Endeavor Jordan network related news
  • Assist in event planning and management
  • Assist in managing and updating Website and Social Media accounts while maintaining Endeavor Jordan’s public image
  • Assist in preparing presentations
  • Keep abreast of conferences and events by maintaining relationships with other local entrepreneurship organizations
  • Work closely with contacts in media industry to build awareness of Endeavor Jordan
  • Provide support and assistance to other departments upon request and approval of direct manager


Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years of prior relevant work experience in marketing and communications (prior experience will not be a deterrent for the right candidate)
  • Strong interest in entrepreneurship, business and economic development
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic
  • Superior interpersonal relations, organizational skills, attention to detail, and time-management skills
  • Creative, flexible and able to balance multiple priorities
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Strong computer software proficiency (Word, Power Point, Excel, Google sheets)
